i've always had a soft spot for ice cream gallery. first had it by chance a couple of years back. we were looking for desserts along the tanjong katong stretch, and stumbled upon it. there was another ice cream cafe on the same stretch, but for some reason we compared the two and decided that ice cream gallery was the more tempting one. and from then onwards, i've liked ice cream gallery, especially the sea salt caramel, even though i'm not an ice cream kind of person.
we had the brownie with sea salt caramel ($8.30)-
as well as a triple scoop waffle ($9.50 for double scoop waffle, additional $3.90 for extra scoop).
glad to see that they've changed the waffle. the first time i had the waffle, it was the rectangular type, and they just took it out of the fridge and heated it up (!). it was of course terrible and cardboardy. for some reason i decided to give them another chance, and thankfully it paid off. the waffle was decent, and reasonably priced in comparison to other cafes (it goes for $2.90 alone). had the waffle with honey nut, salty peanut and valrhona chocolate ice cream.
the brownie was fudgy and served warm. it was pretty good, but of course, the star was the sea salt caramel that came with crunchy almond bits.
they seem to be doing a promotion for different days of the week. monday seems a pretty good deal in particular, with 1 for 1 on single scoops. their ice cream is just as smooth and good as i remember, though some of their flavours lean towards the sweet side. still, their pricing is reasonable, and they'll always be my go-to dessert in the tanjong katong area.

I love the part where you say you are doing this to give back but I would assume by all the comments that is working for you as well. Do you have any more info on this?
