tiong bahru glacier pastry.
every time i'm in tiong bahru (which is not as often as i'd like), i'll make sure to pop by just for the kueh dadar ($0.80).
kueh dadar is basically a crepe roll stuffed with shredded coconut. after i've eaten theirs, i constantly compare others to it, and i've since come to the conclusion that i can never eat any other. it is that good- with a soft and thin skin and fragrant coconut filling. usually the coconut filling is brown, but theirs is white. it's also not as sweet as others, which lets the slightly savory taste of the coconut come through.
their other pastries are pretty good too. saw that they had a custard cream puff ($0.90) that day, so i bought one to try. i've never seen them selling the custard puff before, so i suppose they rotate their pastries.
appreciate the fact that they don't have erratic opening hours- they open till night! so it's pretty easy to get hold of the kueh dadar, thankfully.
