pecori japanese egg restaurant, liang court.

i've always wanted to try the omurice at this place, but there are too many other temptations at liang court...

finally got down to it that day, with the food trail coupon as motivation. shared a spicy tomato omurice with ebi fry with L.

the omelette, usually the star of omurice, was just okay- it wasn't the fluffy type that i like, but it wasn't crap as well. the star was the sauce- it reminded us of japanese curry, and we couldn't stop eating it. liked that the rice wasn't just plain rice or even butter rice, but a tomato rice. though it probably didn't need to be, given how strong the sauce was. the ebi fry was pretty good as well- crisp and not greasy.

the set also came with free flow salad bar, including corn, beansprouts, kimchi, potato salad and soup. dessert was also included- it was moi lou chocolate. i didn't know what to expect until we were served. looking at its appearance, we were guessing that it might be lava cake, but it wasn't (was that too much to hope for?). instead, it was a chocolate cake that i was undecided about, but L liked. it wasn't sweet, but the texture straddled biscuit and cake, which i couldn't decide if i liked.

it was an alright meal- quite value for money, given the unlimited sides. i wish they had better omelette though. i'd come back if their egg was better done.
